THANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF OUR HEARTS - WE DID CINDY PROUD

On August 17th friends, neighbours, former co-workers and their families gathered together for a fun-filled afternoon to honour the memory of Vancouver Firefighter Cindy Kampmeinert. It took a bit of time to collect and calculate everything, but we can now say that $4675 was raised from the silent auction, 

the dunk tank...

food and drink sales...

...and donations at the event.

This money is being split three ways between the Firefighters Burn Fund, 

the Strathcona Community Centre Backpack Food Security Programme, 

and St. James' Music Academy.

At this time we would like to thank all the donating organizations and individuals who in various ways volunteered their time, resources, and talents for the event--and the dunk tank!
